to use the key?

if you,ll use the key to unlock,and lock the door with,the alarm system will still work,and wont have to be disabled,that's the best way to do on this one,if that don't work for you ,pull the fuse for the alarm system on it,good luck,i hope this help,s.

have you tried changing the battery in your remote ???(they don't last forever...)

I believe on the RL if you open the door with the right key, even if the alarm sounds, putting the key in the ignition will turn off the alarm.
