Default For people who know what there talking about with integras?

should i get a gs integra and put a turbo into it? or should i get a gs and swap with a type R and then progress from there, and possibly put a supercharger or turbo? i was told that an ls or gs with turbo actually give out more horsepower with a turbo is that true???

It can kind of depend on what generation Integra you're talking about. Plus the brands and types of turbos available for those generations.

Yeah go with the turbo , the supercharger actually takes power from your car to make more power.

a type r has too high of compression for turbo but it has been done. i owned a 98 gsr and that was a blast to drive. get a gsr and turbo that later on. gs and ls had a b18a and b18 b motors i believe, the gsr has b18c and the type r is b18c5 . a and b dont have vtec, and you WILL want that so spring for the gsr, lower compression, vtec and go to teamintegra.net and educate yourself it is an awesome website

you should really choose between going with an all motor setup or a turbo/supercharger setup. If your looking for value, just get yourself a nice SWAP. There's more to turbos and superchargers than meets the eye and they are very pricey! We're talking, bigger fuel injectors, fuel pump, internals, manifolds... gosh.. etc etc and what not.... piping... the list goes on and on....But yea, gs or more widely known as an LS, with turbo would give you more power.

Waste of money if you gona spend that much get a k20 it's the next gen of swap, just the motor alone will run the same as the gs with turbo I think but if you throw in the basic boltons it's gonna be faster and more reliable because it's all motor. That's my next swap I got a gsr in my eg HB so the k20 I'll wait till the price goes down.
