Does anyone know what type of head unit it is? Is it like some off brand or in-house design by acura, or is it a kenwood or other brand with acura logos on it? Im looking for an ipod interface but i dont know the type of unit my 06 base rsx came with, and if you own the same car and know which ipod interface, meaning direct connect, something installed and channeled through my harness, that i should buy, let me know. Please dont guess, because that wont help anyone.

Sorry to tell you but there is no ipod interface for the RSX. Only way you are gonig to beable to hard wire it in, is to get a line-in adapter, and tap the signal wires, and then wire in some audio cables. but you are basically just pluging a audio jack into the ipod and using your car as a speaker set. there are not controls of the ipod from the car HU, and do everything from your ipod.What i suggest id you go get a good HU that has a ipod interface built in or one that you can get a adapter for. Alpine makes some HUs that either you can get a adapter for, or comes with one, and all you do is plug in one cable to the HU and ipod, and you can fully control the ipod form the HU.
