This is by far the most annoying problem in the world. I think removal has been attempted by 90% of tl owners.http://www.vtec.net/forums/one-messa...6&page=10There has to be a way to do it. Next time the alarm is on, findout where the sound is coming from. Its more then likely coming from behind the gauge cluster or by the passenger floor. There will be a little white box (if its like our hondas), probably the size of pice of bubblicious. There will be two wires going into it, cut the red one at a low enough spot, that if it affects anything on the car, it can be mended.

Why don't you ask an Acura technician at the local dealer?

Unplug it under the seat or just pull the fuse.

There is a sensor under the seat which can probably be disabled by an Acura technician. The question is why would you want to do this? Wearing your seatbelt is essential while driving your TL. Without your seatbelt on the highly advanced air bag system will not deploy correctly and you could be seriously injured, crippled or killed. In most states you can get fined for not wearing it.

i don't think so, it's for your own safety, plus all make & models starting at 2000 has that light, it's mandatory just like wearing your seat belt. click it or ticket?
