does the 2001 acura integra ls hatchback come with a vtec engine?

I'm sure it does as do almost all hondas and acuras. Probably one of the smaller vtechs, like a 2.0 liter or so.. Probably produces between 160 and 180hp.

Yes, but only the GS-R and Type R models have VTEC. The LS and GS have a 1.8L non-VTEC.

i think so just about all of hondas and acura cars come with vtec if its a stick... i would make a ls/vtec engine=)

i think its jus the GS-R and Type-R that has vtec

BetterPic and Veters are right. I have a 2000 LS and, no, no VTEC. That type of engine is reserved for the Rs (GSR, Type R). My brother had one in his GSR and we often spent a lot of time talking about the differences.
