I have a ls/vtec motor(b18a1 block and b18c1 head) my car currently isn't running because the right amount of fuel isn't going to the motor to have it running. It always cuts out especially at a certain mid range rpm. I already bought two parts for the fuel, a skunk2 intake manifold and a walburo255 fuel pump. Would those two parts be enough to get the fuel to the motor to have my car running. Im getting kicked out my house and my mom is taking back her car so my car is my last chance. I plan on buying the rest but in alittle time when i get settled in my apartment. If anyone has any answers for me I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

My husband says; could be a bad fuel pump(so good thing you got that), or clogged filter(make sure you can blow through it without much restriction)...if it's fuel injected then the computer could be going out, or the fuel injectors are clogged. He says to get two bottles of Prestone carburetor&fuel injection cleaner, and get a cheap little spray bottle...need one person to try and start the car while somebody sprays the spray bottle filled with the cleaner into the throttle body or carburetor. If it's dirty or clogged fuel injectors, spraying that stuff directly into the air-intake will clean the fuel injectors and the valves(even faster than what it would do running from the tank). Put one bottle of cleaner into the tank and use the other bottle to spray into the air-intake until the entire bottle is gone. With the Prestone cleaner you should see an improvement.Good Luck...

if your ecu does not know what you have done, it might be the problem. install the parts since you already have them but disconnect your battery AND remove the backup fuse before you do anymore work. if your car will start and run but cuts out, is it the rev limiter kicking in? i have seen people make changes and lead to ecu limiting revs from 3 grand to 5600. it will depend on the problem the ecu identifies. i would say first start the car and see if the check engine comes on after about 1 minute. kill it, unhook battery and remove backup fuse for about 2 minutes. hook it back up and let it idle for 2 or 3 then drive normal until it reaches normal operating temp. then try to get on it and see if you still have the problem.if you can floor the car in any gear ar a lower rpm and it not stall, the ecu is more than likely the problem. unless you missed something when installing the vtec head. also check out the injectors and make sure they are firing correctly. a crossed wire will cause this problem also and lead to engine failure. an g3 integra engine needs only 2 plugs and 2 injectors to start and run up to 3500 rpm.by the way, with the money you spent buying that head and all the machine work and fabrication needed to make a vtec head work on an b18a, you could have had a turbo installed that would result in more power. vtec has never impressed me. nice engineering but limited.my 92 ls is now 390hp with the charger. had to push firewall back but it was worth it.my 98 gsr is 425 with same charger. vtec kicks in at 4600 but by that time it is too late.new car more power but still have to wait until computer says it is ok to go fast.good luck with the car. if you check all that it still nothing, post another question with everything you have done and my team will find out them problem for you
