I believe they can run 15secs flat on the 1/4 mile. As far as the BMW goes, Im not sure. I have an 05 Type S, pretty quick.

Depends if its a base or Typr-S and if there are any mods. With a 02-04 Type-S It will be quicker then that BMW. If its a 05-06 its going to be alot quicker. but if its a base its going to be slow.

Type-S's will beat anything off the line...I own a 2002 and I've beaten everything thats come my way...(yes I do have a witness, my husband who likes to laugh at the guys I make mad, by beating them at their own game...beat the 50 yr old, short, fat, ugly woman off the line..she thinks she's hot in her little car, I'll show her...well...what they don't know is, I used to race cars, my Dad was a mechanic, I have faster reaction time than most people my age (or younger either). I've never driven anything BUT a stick (since 71 when my girlfriend taught me to drive her bug). I'm also very competitive when it comes to my car.)Type-S's have a 200hp (6 spd, 7900 red line tach), RSX 140 hp(auto) engines.( I also don't run on the Michelin's it came with, nasty tires...I run Bridgestone Pole Pos. 3's great sticky tires...)2006 is the last yr for the RSX model. It will no longer be made by Acura.

If your talking about the Acura RSX type S:Acceleration 0-60 is around 6.5 seconds. Top speed is 143 mph.
