Default Mounting a Front License Plate on an Acura Rsx...?

2006 Acura RSX, have the mounting bracket/hardware, etc.., but i've seen the standard mounting position, and it changes the whole look of the front end from streamlined, to ugly. Ive considered finding a way to mount it to the front windshield inside the car, but unsure of its legality (I live in California),...looking for creative places/ways to mount it to the front, or suggestions from enthusiasts/customizers on where to put the plate. The car is a lease, though i intend to purchase it, so id like to keep hole drilling to a minimum. Does anyone know any non abrasive, temporary adhesives i could use to keep it affixed to the inside front of the windshield, or any way for me to fit it to the front without ruining the look of the car?

temporary adhesives? well then when you drive it's not sure to stick.... I actually believe in CA you are not allowed to affixate anything to your windshield... You might want to check with the local police since they will be the ones to ticket you.

You can try it until you're pulled over by CHP.

The license bracket on my CL-S looked out of place too. I replaced it with a home made bracket I made from a couple L brackets from the hardware store and placed it below the bumper...works fine. My dealer wanted to know where I got it.
