Default What is the most cost effective way to add power to a 98 Integra?

Just got a 98 integra gs, dont have a whole lot of money to put into it (as in no turbo or supercharger, yet), but still want to get the maximum amount of power out of it without spending more than about a grand. any help?

JATO rocket bottles, adds 1000 horsepower to your car for a one time use! Great for a race! Costs a cool thousand dollars each or something!

Intake, header and cat-back exhaust. Make your engine breath better, and this should improve your HP greatly. Adding my header to my accord was the greatest power increase I had, and I bought it off eBay for less then $250. Good luck and have fun.

I have some bad news for you. Without forced induction that car WON'T be fast. It will actually sound like gay and look it too. Just leave it how it is. It would be more 'cost effective' to mod a car or buy a car worth a shit.

Why buy a slow 'vette. Buy a Hennesy Grand Cherokee SRT 8. Zero to 60 in less than 4 secs.

intake, headers, hi-flow cat, exhaust, chip your ecu. i have a 96 ls and if you dont have that kind of spending money, for the time being, you can take the box cover off your stock intake to get a lil more air flow. or you can go open headers to free up some hp but you lose torque
