For simple around town driving shift at 3k to 4k. Anything below V-TEC will keep you mpg high. For wide open throttle, shift at red line to get the most power out of your engine!

Like stated before if your in town just daily driving stay in the 2-4k range... VTEC opens up more valves and drinks that gas.. but as far as Wide Open Throttle.. the redline is at 7900k for your car.. and if you try anything higher you'll just hit your revlimiter

all up to you! all comes down to how you want drive the car. if you want to save gas then stay around 2500-3500rpm. or if you want to push it then around 6000rpm. that is where max.torque is.

Shifting gears is really by feel. I'm not saying to drive thru the redline and run only on the iVTEC side. But typically anywhere from 3000 to 5200 RPM is reasonable for a "K" block. Especially if your just commuting around town.

yes k series, first buy a vetech controller and find an ecu programmer or chip, and and polish the head, and blueprint and balance the block, and you'll be able to take the k series up to around 8,600 rpms which is the best sound that i have ever heared yes...
