although a supercharger wouldnt provide as much boost which means not as much horsepower, which if thats what youre looking for then, get a turbo, the turbo will be more expensive, but you'll know where that money went when you stomp on the gas. the only thing is, with your supercharger, you wouldnt have to modify nearly as many things as you would with a turbo. with a turbo you have to get a timer, possibly an advanced ecu, a turbo backed exhaust, turbo headers, and then some other things. so a supercharger would be alot easier, but if youre not going to install it then i would go with a turbo. also for imports/honda specifically, i would go with a jackson racing supercharger you can check out jacksonracing.com also superchargers on imports are more rare due to the fact that not many people want to spend the time tuning a supercharger, they would rather just go with instant gratification by getting a turbo.

Alright, everyone above me that answered this question obviously doesn't know s**t.First of all...YES...you can supercharge your TL. It is an excellent choice. A supercharger will provide you with the low end instantaneous power you are looking for. Second of all...Vortech and Jackson Racing are crap. The brand you would want to look at purchasing for your TL is Comptech. They are without a doubt...hands-down...the best engineered and best quality supercharger kit for the TL. Until ProCharger creates a kit for the TL that is. But for now...Comptech is the only way to go.Thirdly...there is no need for a turbocharger system on your TL. Your engine is already making 270 some odd horsepower so a turbo kit would be unnecessary. The fact of the matter is that it would cost way to much to fabricate a turbo kit for it too and then your going to have to worry about the stress on the internals caused by the higher boost. With the supercharger you can run a lower more safe boost pressure but still have plenty of extra low end power and since your engine is a Honda product it will have plenty of higher end power to match the supercharger. Also the TL Type S is not supercharged from the factory. I have no idea where they get there info but it is way off.

You can install a supercharger on a Geo Metro if you want to. Is it recommended on either car? No way.

Depends. The only forced induction i would put in a TL is a Comptech. which is specifically for Honda's and they don't void your warranty.. They have a supercharger for the tl up to 2007. but not the 2007 Type-S. Never go turbo for this engine, it will give it more of a 4 cylinder feel. Superchargers have much smoother power delivery, yes, adds weight, but you will be more satisfied with it. plus a broader torque curve will be better for the weight of the vehicle, and especially being a front driver.
