LOS ANGELES — Honda has decided to stop making the Acura RSX coupe at the end of the 2006 model year and is not yet prepared to announce a replacement for the entry-level Acura product. The RSX, successor to the popular Integra, originally made its debut in 2002.American Honda Motor executive John Mendel, quoted by AutoWeek, said Acura wants to be "performance, luxury, and technology — in the BMW area a little bit." That would seem to indicate that Acura will leave the lower-end products to Honda from now on.

They stopped making the RSX because it would would compete with the 2006 civic si. Honda motor company owns Acura. The decision was made to pull the plug on the RSX is Honda motor company of Japan due to poor sales there although RSX sales are Generally good here in the U.S. The RSX is called the Honda Integra in Japan. They are having problems with sales there because of direct competition of its own brand. Usually when a model is pulled from production in japan the usually to continue production in the states.

yes they did stop making the RSX, reason why.....sales were not as good as its predicessor the integra. so Acura cut it from the line up, my personal opinion is that the integra should have stayed around for a few more years.

Yes, They stopped production of the RSX for 2007.They are replacing it with the 2007 Acura TSX coupe.I also love the RSX..but i love my integra ALOT more. Id take an integra over a rsx. They should of kept the 'Teg. Its so much sexier and sleeker.
