Default When replacing your exhaust system, is it a good idea to replace it with the same one it had ?

I currently have the factory exhaust system.

When you go to buy the exhaust system make sure you ask for one that will fit you car model. They are different. You can also improve or decrease the performance of your engine by changing your exhaust system.

I have never replaced a muffler at the dealer. I don't think they do it. If Acura does, it will be very expensive. There are several after market muffler shops to choose from. MM is the worst. My best experience has been at a local shop. I've had exhaust systems put on 2 cars this route. One was a Walker. The other was a high performance muffler and pipes bought through a catalog that the local guy installed.

You'll have more power if you replace it with an aftermarket system.

I would strongly recommend Walker brand. They are factory like and much cheaper.
