Im such a noobie to cars as you all know. K here the thing, therez a bunch of body kits out there with all these names such as kamikaze, spyder, shogun, combat, invader etc. So what the different between these body kits. Are they just names of the company who design the body kit?

First, all these names are different styles.Second unless you have alot of money or the ability to work with fiberglass don't waste you money. Most body kits need to be cut up to fit on your car,and most collision (body shops) will just slap it on your car and not care what it looks like.By the way my rear bumper had to cut into 3 pieces and the bumper bent to make it fit!

Each name makes their own style some might make a same knockoff but buying it is the easy part installing it thats a different story. You buy a bodykit for lets say 500-1000 bucks and you still have to prep install paint thats another 1000-2000 bucks so before you buy look into that. I had mines done and it cost me about 2000gs after everything was done but the guy hooked me up he painted my whole car also.

What you will find when looking for body kits are that the names of some of these kits are knock offs of the original kits, and usually made more poorly. example, i see you mentioned the spyder kit. that is a knock off of the black widow kit. i have owned nothing but imports and had body kits and the only thing i can say is for you to go with your own taste and style but i will urge you to buy a poly urathane kit instead of fiber glass, its more durable and looks and usually fits better. last but not least, the names of the kits you mentioned are just that. Names of the body kits

They are just 'fast' and 'furious' sounding names the manufacturers give their body kits to entice you into thinking your car will be that much cooler for owning it. Bolt on body kits such as these are, arent designed by acura, so they will NEVER fit properly. Most come unpainted, so youll be putting white fiberglass body panels onto your perfect looking acura, almost completely ruining the look from the start. The BEST option for people interested in adding body kits to their acuras is to go to the acura ownerslink website, and find a Trim kit for their car. Its designed by acura to fit their specific model perfectly, can be installed by a certified acura mechanic, and is typically not in violation of any manufacturers warranty. Add one of those with a bigger rim and lower profile tire and your car will look amazing, certainly moreso than the guy with the Shogun Dragon body kit thats bent on the front quarter from that driveway he took wrong that morning, and still painted white because he never got the funds to have it re-painted to match his car.
