how to improve gas mile on my acura integra 1999?

99 model.. assuming you have 50,000 miles or more you would have to replace your fuel filter. I'd also have the fuel injectors checked.. if you have an air filter for the intake manifold, I'd replace that with a K&N washable filter.. other than that, unless you have a physical problem with the engine or transmission you should be ok on gas mileage...

Put more air in your tires.....Replace the various filters......Don't accelerate too quickly...........Take excess "junk" out of the trunk......(COAST DOWN THE HILLS.... :-)

I'd definately say change out the fuel filters, check fuel injectors, and use the expensive gas or should I say 93...hope this helps!

Keep it tuned up, replace your air filter often, and make sure your tire pressure is good.Aftermarket products that state they will improve mpg are B.S.

slow take off and light acceleration, keep at or below the posted speed limit helps increase fuel mileage dramatically. Keep your tires pressures up to spec, make sure your tires are balanced and your vehicle is in proper alignment. A properly tuned engine and properly working transmission helps alot. If all is in excellent condition, check your Oxygen sensor for proper activity and switch times. a slow or lazy O2 sensor will cause a fuel mileage drop. Get all that excess unneeded weight out of your trunk, You don't need to keep all your stuff in your trunk, extra dead weight in your vehicle consumes fuel.

Go slower and keep the RPM's below 2000 at all times.Changing your driving habits doesn't cost you anything to replace or fix. Just less in gas.

i have 60K miles on my 98 integra ls. i get roughly 400 on a tank of gas (freeway ONLY) and about half to less then half that in town driving.replace fuel filter,spark plugs, plug wires. run a fuel injector cleaner...add a cold air intake headers and exhaust will also help on gas mileage and performance.
