Aside from the usual logos, stickers and interior differences,The tougher stuff to do if you're trying to convert your GSR into a Type R.1. 5 lug vs 4 lug2. high mount center brake light and tall spoiler, GSR doesn't have one, the LED is built into the spoiler3. No sunroof4. Body colored lower side sills and front lip, black in all other models.5. No side door protectors (Not sure what you call them, those little bars that protect your door in the parking lots)And of course what you can't see is that shiny red engine valve cover.

all the visible stuff can be added to the gsr the only way to be sure if its a type r is by looking at the VIN that can not be duplicated
