how do i know if my ignition coil is bad on my 1994 integra rs?

you can only check it at the destribtor on a honda the if the ingition advance is bad in the destibtor the coil will not fire i rarly see honda coils go bad you can pull wire one off and stick another spark plug in it and see if your getting fire if not you may have a bad spark advance

Pull out the number one plug and wire. Stick the plug in the wire and lay it somewhere to check for a spark. Have someone to turn the ignition switch and you watch for a spark from the plug. You should see one it not its bad. May be your coil or module bad if you need a distibutor I have one that will fit. I bought one for my integra and found out my wires had corroded.

You need to take the first spark plug wire out and have another person go inside the car and try to start the car if you have no spark from the wire you might have a problem with the igniton . Possible bad coil or the ignitor in te distributor I had the same problem with my acura.
