Default How can I tell if my Acura RSX is a type S or regular?

What if the badge is fake, but you don't know?

the most simple is the sings in the trunk door, other sing is the rear spoiler is very high, then you can look for all the extras and the engine size compared with other cars

the type s only comes in a 6 speed manual transmission, so if its automatic or a manual with only 5 speed it is NOT a type s.

The S has a 6 speed manual, the regular RSX has a 5 speed mnual or a 5 speed automatic. The S has a bose sound system with a 6 disc CD changer and a casette drive. The reular has a 6 speaker sound system with a singe CD disc. The S hasa 160 PPH speedometer while the regular RSC has a 140 MPH speedometer.
