In asia, it was call Honda.

Acura is only sold in the USA and Canada. In the rest of the world, it's a Honda.

The reason there is no Acura in Malaysia is because Americans have a thing for vanity. And so Honda wanted to appeal to those people. Acura was formed simply to detached itself from the Honda namebadge and make it seem like it was a higher luxury type of vehicle. Same thing with Lexus/Toyota, Nissan/Infinity and VW/Audi. It can also be seen in American cars: Chevy/Cadillac, Ford/Lincoln, etc.Hope this answered your question!

em... I don't think they call Honda. cuz it's only sold in North Ameica.Acura is an U.S. manufacturered car. never sold outside North Americaby idearibbonwww.idearibbon.com
