to be more specific, the gsr has a b18c1 engine, whereas the type r engine is the b18c5

B18C1 but if u want specs the USDM motor is rated at 170hp with 121 trq compression is around 10.1:1 and the tranny is a close-ratio 5spd with no limited slip Diff. the JDm verison is about 180hp and 126 trq with compression at about 10.6:1 the tranny having a LSD.
