Default 1993 Acura Legend Alarm Problems?

I have an Acura legend and I can't get this damn alarm to go off!! Can anyone help!! Please fast

if it is a factory alarm the switch is in the door lock cylinder on the drivers door, if the alarm activates try locking and unlocking the door, if it is an aftermarket alarm get a hammer
