well the reason you should put the higher stuff in your car is because it will keep the engine cleaner, and it will run to its full potential. The lower stuff in the newer cars, wont hurt it none now, but in the long run you may get engine knocking, crappy MPG due to the engine being dirty, and higher maintenance prices in the future. Run the good stuff and the car will be better. I drive a new bimmer and i never put anything less than supreme 93. I would also suggest changing out that crappy conventional oil and have the dealer put in synthetic oil. You will thank me later for the advice, plus you wont have to change the oil as much. I think like every 12000 miles???
