I own a 2002 Acura TL 3.2. I have already gone through 1 bad transmission within 90k miles. Everyone I know that owns one has at least gone through 1 if not more transmission problems. It's a manufacture defect and Acura has extended the warranty to 100k. If the car you bought has more than 100k miles, I would be careful and maybe find out if it already had a transmission problem. Overall it's a great car
