The view out of my windshield in my new Acura TSX is extremely difficult at night. The bottom of the windshield is very clear/bright, however, the top 70% is very dark and difficult to see through (only at night). Is this a general problem with the technology in the car (i.e., special head lights, tinting, etc.) or do I have a problem with my specific car?

You probably want to really wash your windshield down from the inside to the outside and make sure you use a good window cleaner. It's important that you only use window cleaner and nothing else when it comes to cleaning glass. I'm going to tell you to use water also but that's before the final step that you have to do. Use a non-scratching cloth or towel and wipe your windows down with hot water really good especially if you smoke (there will be a film that you have to work out). You don't have to get everything off. Let the chemical do it. Once you have it prepped to be cleaned use the window cleaner and spray it evenly over the windshield and wipe with a clean towel. Repeat if you have to but you'll notice the grime on the towel so when you see no more you can stop. Do this for both sides and when your done use a good rain repellant on the outside of the windshield. Just follow the instructions the label and you should have a good view from now on. If this doesn't work email me and I'll give other suggestions for your problem.

reduce the brightness of all inside lights and it will help!

Clean the windshield inside and out with a good glass cleaner. Turn down the instrument panel lighting. If that doesn't work, get an eye exam.
