I have a 2003 and it is a typeS. It's nice. Quiet inside while driving. It is fast and great on gasoline. O also it has a GPS. Checkout http://www.cardomain.com to other people fixing up their ride!

the 03 tl still had the older body style . 04 was the first year with the newer body . it looks totally different .

2005 - 2006 are all the similar. 2005 was the year Acura sold the most TLs. 2004 faced transmission issues, simply because it was the first year. 2007 will have some minor changes and there will be a Type-S option. China's version does already look different compared to the current American version.
