...open/close moonroof.? I can open the moonroof like a champ. I can close it once or twice after not having used the moonroof for several months. Then it just won't close anymore. I can hear the click from the motor like it is trying to close. So it sounds like the electrical signal is getting to the motor. Are we talking about a bad motor here even though it opens fine ??

try oiling or greasing the tracks and gears first could be hanging up. if that dont work check connections and fuse, sounds funny about fuse but could be slight connection to creat power but not connected enough for full power.slight but it happens. after that could be the motor bushings inside motor, need oiled or worn out.

I had that problem with my eclipse. I took it to a dealer and it only took them like 15 minutes to fix it. It was really cheap to fix.
