I am looking at the Acura MDX as my nwe SUV car. What do you think/rate it?

Nice, but grossly over-priced. Read Consumer Reports first.....

It's not an SUV it's built on the Honda Odyssey platform so it's a mini van.It's got good pickup but the third row seats are horrible to get to and sit in. I don't know why they bothered. If you like the MDX, get the Honda Pilot instead. It's the same platform and has the fake SUV look and much more comfortable for moving lots of people.Or if you're real intelligent, get the Honda Odyssey instead. Now that's luxury and comfort with lots of space.

1 to 10 i give it 5 but Honda crv has acura zc motor i give it a 10

Edmunds.com has a consumer rating of a 9.2. I personally have not driven one, so i can't give you a good answer. All i can say is if you really like the car, then get it. You should first test drive a few other suv's to see which one you are more comfortable with. After all, this is a big investment. That's an expensive car!

Ok, it is confterble with leather seating, engine has a nice purr, and has a awsome kick so.... 8-10!or 8.5somewhere around there

where does doslion get his facts from? The MDX is the same as the Honda Pilot with a 3.5 liter engine,same VTM-4 drive system same dimensions,but the Pilot has more cargo room. and a lot cheaper.Acura is just a luxury division of Honda Motors. But they both ride nice and comfy with all the navigation,DVD,Bluetooth technology, it's nice.

Very high, it is a great car and is recommended by Consumer Report Canada, despite its slightly high price. One of the better three-row, car-based SUVs, the MDX has a strong, refined powertrain and pleasant ride, though road noise is pronounced. The interior features a 50/50-split third row bench that increases passenger capacity to seven or stows easily into the floor. The MDX feels agile but does not inspire confidence in emergency handling, even with its standard stability control. The MDX is the car to buy. I would also recommend its competitor the Lexus RX-330. They are both nice cars.
