Well the problems will correct themselves over time, althought the amount of loss of lives depends really on how much profit is involved.. Lots of profit means a stablility will be enforced, quickley ( 5 years or so ) . If nobody really cares, you could see civil war among the tribes for decades until one wipes the other out... It the bottom line that counts here.. if Iraq can pump oout some cash for big business we`ll ( Westerners ) keep things tight.. if not we`ll let the whole thing burn itself out. But either way the non-iraq presence will pull out of iraq within the next couple of years, by then we`ll either have "our" people in charge or we`ll just forget the whole thing happened.. Being victorious in battle means we can always change the information of why we we landed to suit our needs anyway.

Iraq will be a U.S. sponsored dictatorship, just as it has been in the past. The U.S. will remain happy with that regime for some years, then spend billions to topple it, only to install another. And, all of this at the American tax-payer's expense. What's that old saying about learning the pit-falls of the past so as to avoid them in the future?
