Default Is oil leaking out of the valve cover on a 1990 Acura Integra common ?

Just wondered if other owners of this year have had the same problem.

O.K., Look. The car is like, what, 16 years old with what? 185-200K miles? Yeah, it's gonna have some fluid leaks.VERY CAREFULLY tighten the cover bolts. It may stop it, at least it should minimize it.

After 100 thousand miles or so gaskets shrink and leak. Yes it's common. Try tightening bolts a little to see if that works.~)=

It's old! Go to your local parts store and get a NEW gasket and get to work.

Yes it is very common. Besides the valve cover gasket itself, the cam seal tends to leak (on the front left corner near the distributor). You can use Honda bond (a type of sealant) to prevent the leak.
