Default What car company is Accura?
I talked to several people I know, and some tell me that Acura is a Toyota made car. And others think it is a seperate made car. And still others think it is Honda made.What is it?

Acura is a car brand name used by the Honda Motor Company. The Acura name was introduced in 1986, with the introduction of the Acura Integra and the Acura Legend. It is Luxury Honda rebranding, same as Toyota - Lexus and Nissan - Infinity. Idea born in mid-80s after marketing failure of Toyota luxury models. Similar attempts are Ford - Mercury - Lincoln and Dodge - Chrysler
