Default Acura Integra 1990 LS Overheating & Rpm problem?

I have a 1990 Acura Integra LS

Today it started to overheat, and engine began to smoke.

I parked it, to let it cool down, Added anti freeze, cuz it was low.

I left it off for a few hours (i was walking distance to home)

when i returned and turned it on, after a few minutes it began to give off smoke from the engine again and the Rpm would rev up and down by itself while the car was in Park.

anyone have any ideas what might be happening? Fixes? or approximate cost to fix?

thanks in advance
