Default Hi I have a 1999 Acura Integra Ls automatic I want to increase the horsepower and stay...

...naturally aspirated? MODS SO FAR H/E/I nrg seats race plug wires and ngk iridium plugs

Yeah, those aren't mods. That's a tuneup.































You want real power, then you need cams, head work, port the intake and exhaust...bigger valves. $$$$$

1. Build engine.















2. Build tranny to take it.































Going to cost a small fortune to do it right.































Or just install some garbage bolt ons and pretend it is a race car!

Automatic is your problem. What is the point of building a "fast" car if you can't drive it. My advice is to do an auto to manual swap or simply sell it for a manual one.

No VTEC, you're wasting time. The most you'll get from an LS engine without a VTEC swap is about 160hp at the crank N/A. Even with a B16A head, all the bolt-ons, cams, etc. MIGHT get you to 195whp with a manual. With an auto? About 180whp.

Well some ways are cold air intake or just high performance airfilter,headers,exhaust,and lighter flywheel
