Default Can i make my b18b1 motor into a poor mans type r?

So I was wondering is it possible to make a b18b1 into a poor mans type r. Or is the only thing I can do is make it into ls-v?

Poor mans type r is using gsr bottom with a b16 head. Since you have the b18b all you need is a vtec head and gasket, ecu and tapping into head and block to run the oil line. Lsvtec done
