Default 93 acura integra head swap?

I have a acura integra ls 5 speed. It has the b18a1 engine.















I was wondering if a can swap the b18 head with a b20b head is it compatible or what is a better head to go with to swap my non vtec head out to a vtec head. what all does it consist of? Or would it just be easier to do a full engine swap. Or should I just go with the b18 engine I have? Thanks for your time!

I can't tell you what to do with your car. If you want to run a vtec head without changing the block, do it. If you wan't to do a full swap, do it. Look up the process of going either route as this question is far too broad and requires too much supplemental information to answer.

Then why say anything at all if you can't say yes or no then skip over the question douchebag. As far as I see it it's and pretty straightforward question answered by yes you can do that or no it won't work.

The B18 engine block has 81 mm bore (None VTEC), the B20 has 84 mm bore (VTEC) so use B20 head gasket? What about the conversion kit?















The B18 head has smaller valves B20 has bigger valves















When you put B20 head on a B18 block, you're lower the compression, why not leave the B18 head on and use the B20 cam? Unless you use the P8R head?















Swapping head is not going to increase the torque, use the B20 block.















I haven't done one so unsure (B18 block with B20 head) My 2 cents. HTH
