Default 2005 tl clutch issues?

My mom's got an '05 tl whose clutch sticks- say I'm at a red light and i want to shift into first when I need to go, I have to "pump" to get it to go into gear. Any ideas?

She's a single mom with two small children and i live across the country, the idea of her getting stuck somewhere worries me...

I agree with Henry, u will have to find the leak , I have replaced clutch master cylinders for leak issues on that car, make sure you keep the clutch master cylinder reservoir full of brake fluid until you fix it! (I don't recommend driving until it's fixed tho obviously )
