Default 1994 acura integra ac/heater on blows on front vents?

I have a 94 integra that when I turn the ac/heater on the air only blows from the front vents. I go to change to defrost or feet and nothing happens it stay on the front vents. What could be the problem?

Honda products have that quirk. Close the outboard vents and it should operate normally.
