Default Is $8,000 for a 2004 acura tl with 120k miles worth buying?

The car looks clean, has never been in accident. It has bwr suspension, slotted and drilled rotors, remote start car has a 2008 front end conversion and a rear type-s lip.

It's a good price, but 2004's had transmission and audio system problems, so make sure those check out ok.

The car should be good, just make sure to take it to a trusted mechanic to check it out. Also, with used cars it just comes down to how well you look after it. Good hunting!

Check the real world value via www.kbb.com, www.nadaguides.com and www.clearkbook.truecar.com and use the average of all three sites. Second, do not rely on how the car looks, get a Carfax account and check the ownership history, then take it to your own trusted mechanic for a pre purchase inspection.

I would definitely get a compression check on all cylinders. Do not pay for the modifications to the car, they weren't worth more money. If anything, the car is worth even less because performance mods usually mean abuse. The slotted and drilled rotors were made by who? There are plenty of cheap knockoffs on the market that will start hairline cracking. Get the car checked thoroughly and leave your emotions at home.
