Default Acura Integra gets hot when idles?

I have a 2000 Acura Integra I bought 2 weeks ago, it drove great until I had to take a back to back trip from Louisiana to Atlanta. The temp gauge use to stay below half at all times, now when im in traffic or at a long light it will go over half. Driving it goes back to normal, does anyone know what this is? also it has 192000 mikes on it.

Multiple things to check...

-radiator fan or fan switch may be malfunctioning, confirm they're working.

-check for anything that is blocking airflow (especially between the AC condenser and radiator)

-inspect the radiator fins for damage and end tanks for cracks (if plastic).

-there may be air in the system, bleed the coolant.
