Default I have a 2004 Acura MDX. Why does my D5 light blink everytime I drive in D5 or have it in park?

I have a 2004 Acura MDX. Why does my D5 light blink everytime I drive in D5 or have it in park?

Hello































I am in the U.K and the Only reason I can think of is that you have a normal 4 speed auto gear box with overdrive and that being indicated by D5. I can think of no other reason as it is flashing to remind you that you are in d5.
