Default 2004 acura rsx for a first car??? please help!?

I am looking at a beautiful 04 rsx. has had 5 owners(2 dealerships & 3 actual owners) the owners had the cars each for 2-3 years each. the car is in great condition. it has 97k miles. the guy listed the car for 7k but I offered him 6k clean cash assuming hed say no but he thought about it and said changed his mind. do you think 6k for an 04 acura in good condition a good deal? the owners seemed to take care of it. the last owner was in a minir car accident that dented some of the passenger door but the perso. who hit him insurance company paid for the repair. so it looks like it was never hit. what do you think? I am a 17 year old girl, wont be insuring it or driving until 2 weeks (bday) what are your thoughts? would you pay 6k or is it too much? also are acura rsx expensive to maintain?

I dislike acura.. I had an 06 RXS and I was constantly needing to fix it.. I sold it and got a Mitsubishi... I would recommend a Mitsubishi eclipse to everyone.. I love my car..But no.. 6k is actually super cheap for a 04 Acura RSX.. normally they run high 7k to high 12k..

That is a pretty good price for a RSX with those miles. I've not heard of any major issues with them. Acura and Honda are the same brand. Parts are generally cheap and easy to come by. Don't get Eclipse, those cars are "no-bueno". Oh and make sure it is a clean-title vehicle. You don't want to buy anything with a rebuilt or salvage title.

I have a 2002 RSX-S and have had NO major work done on it, only wear/tear/maint. It's not expensive to maintain. But Insurance is gonna be steep, even for a girl.

I'd take it to a repair shop and a frame shop to look it at....something is wrong with a car thats had -5- owners...and I would NEVER take someones word that a small hit in the door was all it was...bent frames cannot always be seen by the naked eye...

Have it looked at carefully BEFORE YOU BUY IT...
