Question 1:

You can find a new VSS/Speed sensor at RockAuto.com under the category 'Electrical>Vehicle Speed Sensor'. As to which year to choose from, if you have a transmission out of a 2000 Acura Integra, I would use a speed sensor from that year. If you're still using the same transmission out of your 1990 Integra LS, then you'll have to source a speed sensor from that year. Easiest way to tell what year the transmission is, is to run the VIN. If the VIN is removed, you'd have to see if you can find the identification number on the shell (normally near the block's engine code). You may have to call Honda/Acura to help you decode that number.

Question 2:

Assuming that this is nothing fancy, you can easily identify the engine by it's block code stamped on the bottom right (exhaust side). If the engine bay is dirty, you may have to wipe it down to get a better look.
