Default Engine modifications that reduce mpg?

or don't reduce mpg. I have a 98 Integra GS-R and I would basically like to make it as fast as possible off the line without compromising fuel efficiency while being driven normally. If someone could provide me with a definitive list that would be very helpful. If you can think of any variables I haven't mentioned in an attempt to avoid answering my question while still giving the impression that you know what you're talking about, I'd be happy to answer your questions with an edit instead. I will give best answer to someone who gives me a good list. Thank you!

A little searching will be good.

If you want to make your gsr fast, either go turbo. supercharger, or an engine swap (h22/k20). In addition to that, you'll need a good tune to go with it.

Some less expensive modifications are:

short ram intake/cold air intake (both have their strengths and weaknesses)

headers (4-1 or 4-2-1)

High flow cat/test pipe

catback exhaust

Suspension is also a good thing to upgrade as well:

Coilovers or aftermarket struts/springs (I have Koni Yellows on Ground Control sleeves)

Sway Bar (front and rear)

You'll also need an aftermarket rear subframe brace if buying a bigger rear sway bar

Some lower control arms

There are many more parts to look at but I just named a few basic bolt ons. If you have the cash, I would do a k20 swap.

Hope this helps

There has been a lot of mods and kits available for your car. On the link below, they installed everything from chips to air systems while on the dyno and posted the results. You may find it interesting.
