Default Questions for Acura owners?

How is the quality of an Acura?

Would you recommend it?

What model do you drive?

Just give me information on your Acura expireience.

I have never been in an Acura, and I'm considering to trade my car in for one. I'm looking for a used one.

Acura is made by Honda and they're almost identical mechanically.

I used to own a 2009 TSX and currently own a 2013 RDX. I personally think Acuras are very well made, so far my cars have no wear and tear with my family. Keep in mind that Acuras are considered part of the luxury car segment. They compete with Audi, BMW, Lexus, Infiniti, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac, and other domestic and european brands. Some will consider Acura as "entry level" luxury, because it lacks some prestige and features of some of the other brands. Personally, i like Acura's very much. It is a nice blend of sportiness, luxury, and technology that i appreciate. On the other hand, sometimes i do feel Acuras do not add up to the same level of some of the other brands- most notably the german brands. For example, the germans have a very luxurious feel. There are more higher quality materials, and less plastics and a lot of brushed aluminum,(which i think adds a very nice touch), and more technology that Acura lacks. For one, Acura does not offer head up displays, night vision assists, and not as upgraded navigation systems with full google earth view, or built in wi-fi. They also do not have many options in colors and materials. I am talking about fairly new tech, though. And with these options on the other brands, you really pay for it. So in the end I very highly recommend all Acura models-They are reliable, and considerably affordable compared to other Luxury brands. I am currently considering the 2014 MDX. For me the X5 is out of the question for the lack of an acceptable third row, although I loved the 2014 X5's interior, I may wait for the Audi Q7 to be refreshed and see if it is worth it. .... Keep in mind though everyone has their own preference, I am a big fan of BMW and Audi especially, whereas I cannot bring myself to really like Lexus or Volvo.

I owned a 05 Honda civic that had one annoying problem after another. After it reached 36,000 miles and the warranty ended I traded it for a 06 Milano red/ebony 6MT/nav acura tsx. That was on Nov. 16, 2006. I have all the service done by Honda/acura dealers. Replaced the rear brakes for the first time at 150k miles, the fronts are still in great shape. Have driven it on 3 cross country roadtrips and numerous trips from NC to NJ and back. Great comfortable riding car with excellent gas mileage. My car now has almost 158K miles. Love it.
