The pads were worn down too thin and it popped out,eh? Try knocking it loose with a wood or plastic mallet.Or a piece of wood and a hammer. One dent and you have to replace the piston.Go to the parts store and get a rebuild kit or exchange the old one for a re-manufactured one.You might have a "Stuck" caliper which will not retract. The best option is a rebuilt one to replace it. I always have a repair manual with me when doing any work like this, get it wrong and you won't be able to stop in traffic.Get professional help if you are not sure. I've done it many times with my Dad coaching me through the first one and my regular mechanic through the more difficult ones.Try opening the bleed screw in the rear after submerging a length of tubing in brake fluid to prevent air from entering the caliper cylinder and attaching the end to the tip of the bleed screw.Air will cause brake failure, since the pedal is a hydraulic pump.

Go in? Into what? Are you doing a brake job without a repair manual? That would be extremely foolish of you. Did you mean the piston won't compress into the caliper by any chance? I think you are in way over your head.

IT want apply or you took it off and it needs compressing? Leave one pad out to give room to prize it back in or use a c-clamp. Make shure all clips and bolt pins are pushed back for new pads.
