Default What kind off headers should I get for my 2002 Acura rsx base?

It is completely stock with only AEM cool air on it. What headers should I get for quality and perfomace? And not have to worry about Check engine lights coming on. Also I'm not loaded with money just a teenager with a little job and fair mechanical skills. I mean I did buy it.. And I plan to keep adding slowly so I thought headers would be the next step. Thanks for reading

Look on ebay, to get the most power out of the intake and header you need to put a catback exhaust or a high flow cat and muffler.

SPyder $70

Skunk 2 $450

i've had experience installing all of these brand headers...

DC SPORTS would be best in my opinion. good price + i've seen good gains. highest quality from what i've seen.

OBX Racing overcharges for their products but they do have decent stuff. i wouldn't pay for any of it. on par but NOT better than DC SPORTS R&D wise.

Megan Racing has been a hit or a miss that i've seen. very good price points but R&D is pretty much non existent. they mostly copy the higher brands listed above but there will be a high chance of slight modifications to fit. and reliability is out the window since most of the headers they produce come with universal flex joints in place of actual engineered bends of the product they're copying...buyer beware.

Skunk2 and Spyder are bottom of the barrel products. mainstream bullcrap that people with no knowledge or experience buy. they are total copycats of products you would expect from china and whatnot. i've seen way too many people come back after installation and complain of welds coming apart and pipe discoloration after 2-3 days...NO!

there is no right or wrong answer here. its all up to personal opinion. you will get the best performance from racing headers, but you also will get a check engine light, you can get rid of it with a defouler. shorty headers dont have as much gain as racing headers. One of the best mods you can get for an RSX is Honda data re-flash of kpro. I personally would get that first.

First link sells just about everything you can imagine for the rsx.

Second is forums that you can read up on the car, also great product reviews.
