Default If you maintain your car transmission can it last a long time on a 99 Acura TL 3.2?

My father wants to give me his. He's kept it WELL maintained. Has 180,000 miles

Yes.

Realize also that things mechanical *do* wear out ....no matter how well they are taken care of. It's just that if they are taken care of well then it takes them a lot longer to wear out.

It's already lasted a long time, but if he's giving it to you, take it.
