...I now own a 89 300zx and before I owned a 92 honda prelude. There is nothing like rear wheel drive. Rear wheel drive is funner, can be quicker in a 1/4 mile because of how physics work, and you'll be looking forward to those rainy days. People will also look at you differently. It's sad, but with a honda/acura any mod you do you'll be judged my harshly for being "rice" then with something like 3000gt or Dsm.
That's just my advise. If you like the acura more though go for it, F everyone else. It's your car. A side note. The 240sx's tranny is capable of holding 400 plus Hp . Just in case you had some crazy horsepower plans. |

For what? The newest 240SX is a 1998 (S14, which IMHO looks better), and the newest S13 is 1994, while the oldest RSX Type S is a 2002. For a daily driver, I'd likely take the Acura, it'd be more reliable, more comfortable, and lower miles.
For a project car, definitely the 240SX. Stick a Ford 4.6L V8 in it, 350hp, no added weight, add a 125-150hp nitrous shot to it and have an easy 11 second car without much money invested, maybe 10s. And it would even handle better...the V8 would actually save a little weight and move the weight back. |
