Aesthetically:

Get a JDM rear wing.

Ditch all the badges on the back and get a red Honda one (for the front too)

Change out the tail lights for ones with red turn signals and not amber ones.

For the RSX, I wouldn't overdo it. Keep it naturally aspirated so you don't ruin the balance.

Here's what I'd do.

Good Cold Air Intake like Injen. Has the most bang for the buck.

Kpro tune.

Exhaust and header are virtually worthless on the K series.

You can get an intake spacer which makes modest gains.

If you really want to spend the money, get a set of mild aftermarket cams or ITR cams.

Then I'd do suspension. Good coilovers...European though, not JDM. JDM seem to ride harsh and are a bit bouncy, while Euro coilovers tend to ride better. KW Variant3s would be my choice.

Stiffen the chassis with bracing (front/rear strut braces, lower tie bars).

Keep the body stock, it looks fine as is, and anything you add to it will draw unnecessary attention and look tacky since it would be hard to match the paint.

Tint the windows.

Good, modest 17" wheels and good tires, upgrade rotors and brake pads to finish it off.

If you want to hit the dragstrip, throw a 40-50hp hit of nitrous on it. Between the N/A mods and the nitrous, should be able to run 13s easily.

Also, if you really want to, you could upgrade the seats and throw in a short shifter. You could use a carbon fiber hood, but either paint it or have it clear coated so the gel coat doesn't turn brown.

Neuspeed.com has modifications for Hondas/Acuras, you may check their website.

Furthermore, as a side note, an Acura RSX Type S is a good looking car and probably fun to drive; however when getting froggy out on the roadway or the track, be sure you know your car and what other vehicles you can safely challenge. I witnessed a race b/t an RSX Type S with a turbo and a stock, naturally aspirated, 6-speed 350Z with very worn out tires. The Type S driver was attempting to challenge the Z driver. When the light turned green, the Z was smoking both rear tires and sliding caddy-corner right off the line....yet it was already HALF a car-length ahead of the Type S. The Z CONTINUED to pull on the Type S, despite burning the tires when hitting 2nd gear and then chirping them shifting into 3rd. By the time the Z had reached about 97 mph, the driver decided he'd beaten the Type S badly enough and thus let off the gas. The Type S driver then further embarrassed himself by performing what is commonly referred to as a "Ricer Fly-By".

Point being, despite having a turbo and good tires, they Type S was not even close to being a match for the stock, 6-speed 350Z. It was a dumb call on the driver of the Acura; not only was his ambition greater than his talent, it was also greater than his car's ability to perform.

Be a good steward of modded Acuras and race within your car's ability.
