It sounds bloody expensive. I got Honda Plus when I
bought my car for $860 canadian. It extended the warranty
to 7yrs/160000kms.

I don't think I would trust other warranty companies, too
many bad stories.

Honda treated me well, but many people on this group also
question the validity of extending the warranty. Its a
crapshoot for sure, but think about how much shit you
could fix on your car for $2600!
