Careful here. The intakes that kids put on there cars these
days also make a whistling sound under acceleration.
If you have a ton of stereo stuff in the car, then yes, the
alternator won't sufficiently keep the battery charged.
Put the battery on a charger. If it doesn't charge, that's the
prob. If it charges nicely and keeps the charge, then get an
alternator.
